Serve

As Christians, we are called to serve God, other people, and the world. St. Paul's offers many opportunities to respond to this call.

The warm, joyous worship services we enjoy at St. Paul's would not be possible without the generous gifts of time and effort by many people. Can you sing? (even a little?) Consider joining the choir for practice on Wednesday evenings and at Sunday morning service.  Can you read?  Can you arrange flowers or would you like to learn how? The Flower Guild would welcome your help with Sunday altar flowers. The Altar Guild also welcomes assistance in setting up for Sunday services and/or cleaning up afterwards.

Lectors to read the Old Testament and Epistle lessons are needed at every service.  All of these activities are open to anyone who attends St. Paul's. Other forms of liturgical service, such as, being a Chalice Bearer, Verger, or Lay Eucharistic Visitor require a "license" from the diocese, but are open to any member of the church willing to meet the prerequisites. Or, what about teaching Sunday School?

St. Paul's invites you to participate in forms of service that already exist and to propose new ones to meet needs you see in the community and the world.
